Saw the image of salted lime soda for beverage option for diabetics. But need to get it to your notice that most of the diabetics have renal or cardiac involvement. Thus salt cannot be used freely in their case.
Hi Alifia, what you said is very true. There are many other problems that come hand in hand with diabetes. Although we would all agree that mismanaged diabetes causes these problems. The base of this in our country is most often Sugar, and the idea here most probably is to send a message across to enjoy a lime soda that is not “sweet”.
I actually use himalayan salt to salt my lime soda.

Studies were conducted and children fed with salt daily (which was then fortified with iodine) performed better at exams and had higher IQs then those deficient.
