Tasty Peanut Chaat

Peanuts 1 Cup 20 Very Low
Tomatoes 1 in number, chopped 20 Very Low
Onion 1 in number, chopped <10 Negligible
Salt (mix of pink and regular salt 1:1) To taste 0 Nil
Sweet Sour Chili Sauce  2 Tbsp <30 Low
Fresh Mint Leaves A few sprigs <10 Negligible

*For fruits and veggies, you don’t need alternatives! You only need to be eating by the season.

Note: All ingredients used should be organic, free from pesticides and Non-GMO.

  1. Roast the peanuts on a pan and keep aside. Remove the blackened peels of the peanuts and let the rest remain.
  2. Finely chop up the tomatoes and onions.
  3. In a bowl add the peanuts, onions and tomatoes. Drizzle with Sweet Sour Chili Sauce (shake well before using) and toss the ingredients together till well coated.
  4. Add in salt (optional) and garnish with fresh mint leaves. Add some lime juice and/or chilli powder if desired. Refrigerate the chaat and then serve chilled. Enjoy!
